Introduction

Active ingredient	2,4-D dimethyl amine salt

Mode of Action	Selective systemic her民森bicide. Salts are readil區玩y absorbed by the熱可 roots, whilst esters民資 are readily absorbed by 遠好the foliage. Translocatio些麗n occurs, with accumulation princ費場ipally at the meristematic regions問又 of shoots and roots. Acts as a gro答什wth inhibitor.
Uses	Post-emergence contr低老ol of annual and perennial broad-leave火訊d weeds in cereals, maize, sorghum, grassland, 月男established turf,頻醫 grass seed crop匠業s, orchards (pome fr機會uit and stone fruit), cranberr器問ies, asparagus, sugar cane, 師民rice, forestry, and on non-crop la影說nd (including areas adjace信制nt to water), at 0.28-2.3 kg/ha. Control o他厭f broad-leaved aquatic weeds. The i森山sopropyl ester can also be us見理ed as a plant growth regulator to prev會民ent premature fruit fall in citrus f綠老ruit.
Phytotoxicity	Phytotoxic to most b技他road-leaved crops,關看 especially cott理謝on, vines, tomatoes, orn開討amentals, fruit trees, oilseed算站 rape and beet.
Toxicity	Oral: Acute oral LD50 for rats 639民睡-764, mice 138 mg/kg. Skin and eye: Acute友農 percutaneous L場子D50 for rats >1600, rabbits >懂近 2400 mg/kg. Skin 妹市and eye irritant (rabbits). A skin s草市ensitiser (guinea pigs). Inhalation: LC50 (24 嗎美h) for rats >1.79 mg/l.
